What APEX LITE does and how
APEX LITE is a Korea-based lighting design and technical production partner. Since 2018, we have worked across theatre, concerts, film, corporate events, exhibitions and media art — connecting design and execution in one workflow.
We lead lighting design and technical delivery, coordinating stage, audio, truss and video specialists when the project requires. On numerous projects including concert-scene lighting for "XO, Kitty", we have built integrated production teams with seasoned veterans in stage, sound and video, working together over many years. Whether you need a single department or a lighting-led technical production under one team, we adapt flexibly to the demands of each project.
With our own inventory of ROBE, Claypaky, Ayrton and grandMA equipment, we reliably meet the technical standards required for national venues and global OTT productions.
02 — Profile
Lee Cha Hoon — from acting to lighting
APEX LITE is a performance lighting company founded and led by a lighting director with a background in acting.
Lee Cha Hoon trained in the fundamentals of performing arts as an actor at Daeduk University's Department of Acting, then specialized in lighting design at Seoul Institute of the Arts. He served as a teaching assistant at both institutions, and as Lighting Director from the opening of Musistance (2014) and Platform Changdong 61 (2016), and the reopening of Samilro Changgo Theater (2018), he has solely overseen the lighting for hundreds of performances.
